Make a Gift From Your IRA
Thank you for supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon and the local kids who count on us every afternoon in Bend and La Pine. A gift from your IRA helps keep our doors open, and letting us know it's coming helps us plan for the future. When you submit your gift, please make sure your IRA administrator includes your name so we can thank you.
Qualified Charitable Distributions
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), also known as IRA Charitable Rollovers, are the savviest way for individuals age 70½ or older to use their IRAs to maximize their charitable impact. The gift goes straight from your IRA to the Club, it never counts as taxable income to you, and if you are 73 or older it counts toward your required minimum distribution.
Whether you want to make a QCD gift today, tell us about a gift you have already made, or just learn more, you'll find what you need below.
What can we help you with?
I want to make a QCD gift to Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon.
Contact your IRA administrator and ask them to send a qualified charitable distribution to:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon 500 NW Wall Street, Bend, Oregon 97703 Tax ID 93-1127536
Most custodians (Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard, Edward Jones, and others) have a simple QCD request form or can take the request by phone. Ask them to include your name and address with the check, and please use the form below to tell us your gift is on the way.
I've already made a QCD gift and I need a tax acknowledgment letter.
Thank you for your support! IRA checks often arrive without the donor's name attached. If you have already sent a QCD gift and haven't received your acknowledgment letter, please report your gift details using the form below so we can match it to your gift and send the letter your tax records need.
I want to learn more about QCDs.
To learn how QCDs work, who qualifies, and why they are one of the most tax-efficient ways to give, visit our Give From Your IRA page.
Tell us about your IRA gift
Use this form whether your gift is on its way or has already arrived. Alice will confirm receipt and send your acknowledgment letter.
