Just ten years old, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon is a system of seven clubs serving over 16,000 youth. These clubs cover a wide geographical region serving a combined population of over 160,000 in three separate counties spread over 7,837 square miles.
Crook, Jefferson and Deschutes, are three of the top five fastest growing counties in the state of Oregon. The region as a whole grew nearly 50% from 1990 to 2000, compared to the state's growth of 20.9% for the same period. The region continues to grow rapidly.
